ESD occupational low shoe CX 321 O2, soft cowhide, no toe cap - Atlas 92900

Not every workplace in electronics needs a steel toe cap. At test benches, in the laboratory and in the production office what counts is that static charge drains in a controlled way and that the shoe is still comfortable after eight hours. The CX 321 is a class O2 occupational shoe without a toe cap. For its ESD shoes Atlas guarantees a person, shoe and floor resistance below 10 to the power of 8 ohms, that is below 100 MOhm, measured to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What sets this model apart

• Class O2 describes an occupational shoe without a toe cap that has a closed heel area, antistatic construction, an energy absorbing heel and an upper resistant to water penetration and absorption. Where impact or crushing of the toes is possible, specify a safety shoe of class S1 or higher instead.
• ESD equipment under the DIN EN 61340-5-1 measuring method. DGUV rule 112-191 also sets a lower limit of 10 to the power of 5 ohms (0.1 MOhm) so that limited protection against body current remains for work up to 230 V.
• Upper of soft cowhide. Atlas processes only first quality hides and makes its shoes in house, from the leather to the finished pair.
• MPU sole technology with an abrasion resistant outsole and an energy absorbing midsole. Together with the pressure relieving insole this forms the 3D cushioning system for long periods of standing and walking.
• aktiv-X functional lining, moisture regulating, skin friendly, abrasion resistant and colourfast. Slip resistance SRC, that is tested on ceramic tile with detergent and additionally on steel with glycerine.
• Standard width 10 in the broad, foot friendly Atlas fit and released for insoles under DGUV rule 112-191.
