Straight cut die TO220 for Supercut/TOCF cut and form machine - Iteco 131000

When TO220 devices arriving in tubes only need a uniform lead length, this die assembly covers that step on the Supercut/TOCF. It cuts all three leads straight and leaves their geometry untouched, so the parts can go straight to assembly or be formed later in a separate die.

Operating features

• Cut without shape change - leads leave the die straight, only the length is defined.
• Full machine throughput - a single cutting stroke keeps the stated output of up to 3000 pieces per hour available.
• Pneumatic clamping - the wire holder locks the leads before the sliding die moves, which keeps the cut edge dimensionally stable.
• Tube magazine feed - the loaded tube is placed in the upper guide, singulation and positioning run automatically.
• Interchangeable tooling - the assembly can be swapped for any other forming die of the range on the same machine.

Applications

Trimming power transistors, voltage regulators and rectifiers in TO220 packages before manual insertion, before bolting them to a heat sink, or as a preparatory step ahead of a separate bending operation.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The die works only in the Supercut/TOCF automatic machine, which Iteco supplies under part numbers 7915.176 and 7915.177 in the 115 V and 230 V versions. The machine ships without tooling and every forming shape needs its own die. Each component package additionally requires the matching clamping piece and tube holder. Supplied as one complete die assembly. Made in Italy.
