TO92 center lead spread with 3 lead lock-in die for Supercut/RS4 - Iteco 162700

A single retained lead is not always enough when assemblies are transported, turned or buffered before soldering. On the Supercut/RS4 this die assembly spreads the center lead of the TO92 onto the offset pad and forms a lock-in loop into all three leads.

Operating features

• Retention on three leads - each of the three loops clamps in its own hole, holding the device far more firmly than a single lock.
• Center lead spread - the offset pad is met and the package sits square on the board.
• Safe position when turning - double sided assemblies can be flipped before wave soldering without parts falling out.
• Even insertion depth - all three loops act as a stop at once, so packages end up at the same height.
• Up to 2000 pieces per hour - the extra work of three loops costs no cycle time.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The die belongs to the tooling programme of the Supercut/RS4, which Iteco supplies under part number 7915.166 without any die. Every forming shape needs its own die assembly, and the unit is exchanged as one complete assembly. Dies of the 16x.xxx range fit the Supercut/RS4, the 18x.xxx range fits the larger Supercut/TS1. Supplied as one complete die assembly. Made in Italy.
