Center lead spread with lock-in on 3 leads TO220 for Supercut/TOCF - Iteco 132300

Where a TO220 has to sit securely without being bolted down, a single loop is not enough. On the Supercut/TOCF this die assembly produces the displaced center lead plus a loop on each of the three leads, so every lead catches in its own hole.

Operating features

• Retention on all three leads - the load is shared and the part does not tilt while the populated board is handled.
• Even seating height - all three loops are formed to the same height, so the package sits flat instead of leaning.
• Center lead offset included - the displacement and the loops come from the same die.
• Relief for the solder joints - the mechanical anchorage absorbs forces that would otherwise rest on the solder alone.
• Up to 3000 pieces per hour - the most elaborate shape of this range still runs at machine speed.

Assemblies without a bolted heat sink where the transistor is held by its leads only, and equipment exposed to shock and vibration such as drive electronics and automotive modules.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The die works only in the Supercut/TOCF automatic machine, which Iteco supplies under part numbers 7915.176 and 7915.177 in the 115 V and 230 V versions. The machine ships without tooling and every forming shape needs its own die. Each component package additionally requires the matching clamping piece and tube holder. Supplied as one complete die assembly. Made in Italy.
