TO92 die assembly center lead spread and lock-in for SUPERCUT/TS1 - Iteco 182600

TO92 transistors are inserted in a triangular pattern on the board, yet in bulk their three leads sit in one line. This die pushes the center lead out of line and forms a locking kink in that same lead, so the part no longer slips out of the hole before soldering. Only one lead is locked, which keeps the forming travel short and protects sensitive packages.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The die assembly fits only the pneumatic SUPERCUT/TS1 with Iteco number 7915.171, which is delivered without a die. On the sister machine SUPERCUT/RS4 (Iteco 7915.166) the same lead form carries the number 162600. The complete die assembly is supplied per piece and is exchanged without modifying the machine.
