Anti-static hand brush 100 mm, conductive handle - Kinetronics SW-100

Dusting a lens, a scanner glass or a populated circuit board is only useful if the particles actually leave. The Kinetronics StaticWisk SW-100 puts a 100 mm wide head of highly flexible soft natural fibers and conductive synthetic fibers on the job. Handle and fibers are both conductive, so the static charge is led away from the surface being cleaned. What remains is an electrically neutral surface that does not pull in new dust particles.

Applications

Lenses, filters, SLR mirrors and other optical components, film and film strips, scanner glass and framing glass, monitors and displays, acrylic and plastic surfaces, electronic assemblies and circuit boards, jewellery, glass, instruments and technical equipment. Within the series the 100 mm size sits between the narrow widths made for lenses and film and the wide ones made for area work, which makes it the size for benches that see both: scanner glass in the morning, a circuit board in the afternoon.

Care and cleaning

Wash a soiled brush with a mild shampoo. Comb the fibers afterwards and let the brush dry overnight, lying flat on a level surface. Washing does not affect the anti-static properties. Maximum operating temperature is 65 °C and the brush must not be used above that.
