Statfree G2 Conductive Rubber Mat, 1.5 mm x 1.2 m x 2.4 m, Black - Desco 80109

Around wave solder machines and in production with flux, oils and heat, an ordinary floor mat wears out quickly. Statfree G2 is made of homogeneous, volume conductive rubber, so it cannot delaminate, and it carries charge from people and equipment to ground at 1 x 10⁴ to < 1 x 10⁶ ohms. The mat measures 1.5 mm x 1.2 m x 2.4 m and can be cut to size.

Applications

Conductive floor mat in front of wave and reflow solder lines, at assembly and repair stations and wherever personnel are grounded through ESD footwear. Laid on an already grounded ESD floor, the mat needs no separate grounding hardware. Otherwise connect it with a floor grounding kit. Let the mat relax for at least 4 hours before cutting. Clean with an ESD mat cleaner such as Reztore.

Standards

Meets the ESD flooring requirements of EN 61340-5-1, resistance measured per IEC 61340-4-1. Verify Rg periodically with a surface resistance meter. RoHS compliant. Desco provides a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship and guarantees the conductive properties for the life of the mat.
