The Ersa i-CON VARIO 2 MK2 is an antistatic ESD 2-channel soldering and hot-air station with an integrated vacuum pump. Built for the highest demands in professional soldering and desoldering, it lets two Ersa tools run simultaneously with hot air and vacuum. The bundle includes the ergonomic i-Tool AIR S hot-air tool (200 W) for contactless energy transfer and the X-Tool vario (150 W) for desoldering leaded components.

All soldering tools feature an acceleration sensor that activates an automatic standby mode (150-300 °C) or a sleep function (room temperature) once the tool is set down. Moving the tool brings it back to operating temperature within seconds. Every function, including air and vacuum generation, is integrated into one central supply unit with simple i-OP operation and clear displays. The station provides interfaces for automatically switching on Ersa solder-fume extraction units, for controlling Ersa infrared preheaters, plus a USB port and a microSD slot for updates. It is ideally suited for use in ESD protected areas.
