This version removes both restrictions of the HR 600 at once. The XL board holder takes assemblies up to 535 x 300 mm (+x), and the lowered heating cassette leaves 65 mm of space under the board instead of 35 mm. That is what large boards need when they are densely populated on the underside and fit the standard machine neither in length nor in height.

What that means in daily use

• The long panel sits fully inside the holder and is propped against sagging by the centre support rail with its two pins.
• Heat sinks and tall parts on the underside stay in place, so the assembly goes into the machine exactly as it comes out of the equipment.
• The work area is positioned over the 380 x 250 mm bottom heating field, while the top emitter acts on 60 x 60 mm.
• Placement, cameras, sensors and Ersa HRSoft match the base build. Only the mechanics around the assembly are different.
