The Ersa Serie G072 comprises precision soldering and desoldering tips engineered for the Ersa i-Tool and compatible soldering stations, delivering stable tip temperatures with a thermal recovery that keeps pace with continuous production cycles. Tip geometry tolerances are held to within ±0.1 mm, ensuring repeatable solder joint quality compliant with IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3 workmanship standards. The series covers a focused range of 20 tip variants - from fine conical points for SMD rework to chisel and bevel profiles suited to through-hole and drag-soldering applications.
As a specialist distributor for Ersa soldering technology, esd.equipment stocks the complete Serie G072 tip range, enabling direct selection by tip code, shape, and working width. All tips meet RoHS 2 (2011/65/EU) requirements and are designed for lead-free solder alloys (Sn-Ag-Cu, 217-221 °C liquidus) as well as conventional Sn60Pb40 processes, giving electronics manufacturers and rework stations full process flexibility without compromising tip service life.
Typical fields of application: Electronics manufacturing and SMT rework (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721), PCB assembly and through-hole soldering (IEC 61191-1), precision hand soldering in medical device production (ISO 13485), automotive electronics repair and rework (IATF 16949), and aerospace avionics assembly (AS9100).
