Classic
The Festo DGPL linear drives in metric sizes are rodless linear actuators with a profile tube housing and an integrated external slide. Available in bore sizes of 25, 32 and 40 mm with strokes from 250 to 1000 mm (e.g. DGPL-25-1000-PPV-A-KF-B), the external carriage is magnetically coupled to the internal piston, keeping the pressure chamber fully sealed without an external rod. The absence of a piston rod results in a compact overall length relative to the available stroke.

Profile tube housing (PPV) - aluminium extrusion with integrated T-slot for sensor mounting
Magnetic force transmission - sealed pressure chamber, no buckling risk from an extended rod
Compact installation length - overall length equals stroke plus a fixed housing constant
Variant -KF-B - with ball-race guide (KF) and cushioning at both end positions

Typical applications: Horizontal and vertical transport tasks with long strokes in infeed systems, pick-and-place installations where an external rod is structurally impractical, and sliding or portal axes in handling systems.
