ESD Safety Boot CONDOR MID S3L, Full-Grain Leather, Width 11, Brown - PUMA Safety 630122204

Not every department wants to walk in black. The CONDOR MID is therefore also available in brown, built exactly like the black version. The ankle-high boot from the REBOUND series drains the wearer's charge to ground and fits an EPA to DIN EN 61340-5-1, which has to keep the person-shoe-floor system below 100 MOhm. Mechanically it sits in class S3L with a steel toe cap and a flexible FAP penetration barrier.

Why this model

• Dissipation, not just antistatic. The shoe is built for an EPA workplace to DIN EN 61340-5-1, which keeps the person-shoe-floor system below 100 MOhm. EN ISO 20345 only covers the antistatic band of 10⁵ to 10⁹ ohms, so PUMA additionally declares the CONDOR to DGUV Information 112-191.
• Steel toe cap to EN ISO 20345. The cap passes the standard test at 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression, the full safety-footwear level rather than the lower occupational-footwear one.
• Penetration protection without metal in the upper. The flexible FAP insert guards against nail penetration and bends with the step instead of stiffening the sole. PUMA declares the shaft metal-free, with no exposed metal parts.
• Cushioning that lasts a full shift. Three layers work together, an EFFECT.FOAM midsole, the REBOUND compact PU outsole and the Evercushion RELIEF footbed. The rebound of the midsole takes part of the load off the heel, which counts after eight hours on your feet.
• Climate and durability. The BreathActive functional lining moves moisture out, the smooth full-grain leather upper is water-repellent. The outsole is slip-resistant and oil-resistant, abrasion-resistant elements sit where wear is highest.
• Ankle-high shaft. The MID version supports the ankle where a low shoe stops and laces up over the ankle bone. Width 11 in the PUMA width system.

Applications

Electronics manufacturing and rework, EPA zones to DIN EN 61340-5-1, test areas, assembly, maintenance and warehousing. The water-repellent upper and the cleated outsole also make the boot usable for trips across the yard and into unheated halls.

Standards and compliance

PUMA Safety lists the CONDOR MID as S3L ESD. The class code S3L only exists in EN ISO 20345:2022 and stands for a non-metallic penetration-resistant insert tested with the 4.5 mm nail. S3L covers a closed heel area, antistatic properties, an energy-absorbing heel region, a water-repellent upper, penetration resistance and a cleated outsole. The ESD workplace adds DIN EN 61340-5-1, which caps the person-shoe-floor system at 100 MOhm. EN ISO 20345 alone only covers the antistatic band from 10⁵ to 10⁹ ohms, that is 100 kilohm to 1000 megohm, and does not replace that proof. PUMA also rates the shoe according to DGUV Information 112-191. PPE risk category II.

Sizes

Available in EU sizes 39 to 47, width 11. The PUMA Safety men's size chart maps size 43 to a foot length of 27.0 to 27.5 cm and size 39 to 24.3 to 24.9 cm. Measure the foot late in the day, wearing the work sock you will actually use.
