Laser smoke extraction unit, 80 m³/h at 1,900 Pa, 4-stage filtration to H13 - ULT LAS 160 MD.11 SK

Laser marking, cutting and engraving release fine particles and hazardous gases that affect operators and contaminate laser optics. The ULT LAS 160 MD.11 SK captures this laser smoke directly at the process and cleans it in four stages up to an H13 particulate filter, so the purified air can be returned to the room. With a rated operating point of 80 m³/h at 1,900 Pa and a maximum vacuum of 3,200 Pa it is sized for compact laser workstations.

Filter build and replacement filters

Main filter module SK, in flow direction: expanded metal prefilter (ULT 4-00301), panel filter F9 rated ISO ePM1 60% to ISO 16890 (4-00304), filter mat M5-02 rated ISO Coarse 85% to ISO 16890 (4-00238) and the H13A combination filter cassette (4-00002) consisting of an H13 particulate filter and an adsorption filter with an activated carbon bed. Panel filter F9 and filter mat M5 are also available as a set of 5 plus 5 under 4-00308. The prefilters are storage filters, short change intervals keep the H13 main filter working for a long time.

Scope of supply and options

Unit with EC blower, stepless airflow control, particulate filter loading indicator and a 3.0 m EU power cable, other country versions are available. The sheet steel housing is powder coated in RAL 7035 light grey, and the unit can be equipped either mobile with castors or stationary with vibration dampers. Options are the SUB D9 interface for remote operation, operating and filter signalling, and bracket 9-00035 for an Alsident S50 extraction arm.

Compliance and safety

All electrical components are UL and CE compliant, manufactured by ULT AG in Löbau, Germany. The H13 particulate filter is a HEPA filter to DIN EN 1822. Recirculation is not permitted when extracting and filtering carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic substances.
