Description
With gaseous contaminants it is not only the separation rate that counts but the amount of adsorption media inside the unit. The ULT ACD 1200 MD.18 A28 relies on storage filters with two adsorption cassettes of 12 kg and 16 kg of activated carbon and adds 1,000 m³/h at 1,700 Pa so that capture at source actually works.

Applications
Extraction of gases, vapours and odours during bonding, laminating, painting, printing, pre-treatment, cleaning, mixing and casting. The storage filter concept suits places with a steady gas load where regenerating processes are not an option. The unit roof carries a Ø 160 mm mount for an extraction arm.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Equipped with EC blower, volume flow control and the A28 main filter module: Z-Line filter G4-02 (ULT 4-00310), adsorption filter cassette A12 with 12 kg of activated carbon (ULT 4-00401) and adsorption filter cassette A16 with 16 kg of activated carbon (ULT 4-00399). For gas mixtures where activated carbon alone is not enough, two chemisorption configurations are available: AC36 with 50 percent chemisorption media (ULT 9-00096) and C41 with 100 percent chemisorption media (ULT 9-00097). These are storage filters, replaced once saturated. The filtered clean gas may be returned to the workspace. With carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic substances recirculation is not permitted, in that case the exhaust spigot is fitted on the outlet side.
