Pulling adhesive vapours, potting fumes or solvent odours out of a production cell takes more than particle separation. The ULT ACD 1200 MD.80 A28 removes gaseous and vapour contaminants by adsorption on activated carbon and holds 800 m³/h at 1,300 Pa even when hoods, hoses and bends add resistance.

Applications

Extraction of gases, vapours and odours during bonding, laminating, painting, printing, pre-treatment, cleaning, mixing and casting. The nominal duty point at 1,300 Pa suits installations with one capture element or a short duct run, and mounts for extraction arms are provided.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Unit of the ULT 1200 series with the A28 main filter module: Z-Line filter G4-02 (ULT 4-00310), adsorption filter cassette A12 with 12 kg of activated carbon (ULT 4-00401) and adsorption filter cassette A16 with 16 kg of activated carbon (ULT 4-00399). For gas mixtures where activated carbon alone is not enough, ULT offers two chemisorption configurations: AC36 with 50 percent chemisorption media (ULT 9-00096) and C41 with 100 percent chemisorption media (ULT 9-00097). All filters are storage filters and are replaced once saturated. The filtered clean gas may be returned to the workspace. With carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic substances recirculation is not permitted, in that case the exhaust spigot is fitted on the outlet side.
