The deeper the screw position sits, the more it matters that the screw stays on the bit on the way in. This ring magnet is pushed onto the screwdriver bit and keeps it there until the thread bites. The 7.00 mm inner diameter is the size 7.0 from the model name and decides which bit the ring fits.
