The dented hoof form keeps a small solder reservoir right at the lead row while drag soldering fine pitch packages. With a 2.0 mm working face, a 13 mm tip and a self regulating 420 to 475 °C band it suits fast work on QFP and SOIC leads. It fits the SHP-T hand piece of the TMT-5000S-1 and TMT-5000S-2 systems.
