When stripping insulation the setting decides whether the conductor survives untouched. The insulation stripper 11 01 160 is set firmly to the wire or strand diameter at hand with a knurled screw and lock nut, and then treats every core alike, up to Ø 5.0 mm or 10 mm² cross-section.
