In electronics manufacturing the kilometres add up between placement, test bench and store, and every gram on the foot is felt by the end of the shift. The FLASH 6205 XP carries an aluminium toe cap instead of a steel one and still stays in the full S3 safety class, with a metal-free penetration barrier and controlled charge dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What the model delivers

  • Dissipative to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The shoe ties the wearer into the personnel grounding system of the EPA. ESD shoes keep the through resistance below 100 MOhm and above 0.1 MOhm, so the charge drains in a controlled way and no component fails to a discharge on the walk to the machine.
  • Safety class S3 translated. S3 builds on S2 and means a water-repellent upper, a closed heel area, antistatic behaviour and energy absorption in the heel. Penetration resistance and a cleated outsole come on top.
  • alu-tec aluminium toe cap instead of steel. It meets the 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression required by EN ISO 20345, shifts the centre of gravity towards the middle of the foot and, as a thermally neutral material, creates no cold bridge inside the shoe.
  • XP penetration barrier made of aramid fabric. Metal-free, clearly lighter than a steel midsole, covering the full sole area and following the torsion of the foot. It does not trigger metal detectors.
  • Cordura upper with a carbon fibre reinforced toe protector. The air-textured nylon fabric repels water and dirt, holds its shape and breathes, while the toe protector extends service life during kneeling work.
  • MPU INNOFLEX system with CLOUDZONE in the heel, plus a 3D cushioning system and aktiv-X functional lining. The tread areas absorb energy and feed it back into the stride, the lining regulates moisture and dries quickly. Approved for orthopaedic insoles to DGUV rule 112-191.
