Anti-static microfiber Panther Cloth 145 x 130 mm, wet cleaning - Kinetronics PC-MPC5

Fingerprints and an oily film only come off wet, and wet wiping is exactly when glass and plastic like to pick up a fresh charge. The Kinetronics Panther Cloth PC-MPC5 is built for that case: 145 x 130 mm of microfiber for use with liquid, with conductive polyester fibers woven in at 4 mm spacing to carry the charge away while you work.

Benefits

• Made for liquids, yet not pre-soaked: you wet the cloth with your own solution, it does not arrive wet. Since nothing is stored in the fabric that could evaporate, the dissipative action stays constant for the entire service life.

Applications

The PC-MPC5 is used with liquid. Kinetronics Precision Cleaning Solution, glass cleaner or other alcohol-based solutions all suit it. Typical jobs are lenses, viewfinders, displays and touchscreens, scanner glass, circuit boards and other sensitive surfaces where a dry cloth would only smear the film of dirt. For purely dry dust removal, the orange Tiger Cloth ASC-TC5 in the same size is the counterpart, and for large areas such as scanner and framing glass there is the ASC-PP at 450 x 250 mm. On the shelf, orange means dry and black means wet.

Care and washing

Wash at 30 °C together with other synthetics, small load, normal detergent, gentle cycle and an extra rinse where possible. Tumble dry on low heat. For optical cleaning the cloth is retired only once the fibers show visible breaks.
