PCL100 series bags are manufactured under low-ion, low-particle conditions to minimise contamination in ISO 14644-certified cleanrooms. The range covers several format sizes of the ESD cleanroom shielding bag PCL100 type.

Standard shielding bags (METAL IN) are designed for general EPA zones. Cleanroom shielding bags PCL100 are additionally manufactured under cleanroom-compatible production conditions: the film material is tested for particle abrasion, ion release, and outgassing to remain within the permissible contamination limits of ISO cleanrooms. For SEMI standard applications (semiconductor manufacturing), PCL100 bags are the recommended specification.

Typical applications: Semiconductor manufacturing (wafers, chips, substrates); aerospace electronics (cleanroom production per IPC-A-610); medical device manufacturing (ISO 13485, cleanroom-compatible packaging); and transfer of ESD-sensitive components from standard storage areas into cleanroom zones.
