Soldering and rework on through-hole parts, connectors, solder lugs and larger SMD packages in electronics production, test and repair. The wide blade also works for dragging solder across multi-pin connections.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The tip works with the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems and with the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E handpieces. In the STTC series the cartridge and the heater form one unit, so a tip change during production takes seconds and needs no tools. Scope of delivery: 1 soldering tip cartridge STTC-137.
