Crimping die for non-insulated open plug connectors 2.8 and 4.8 mm, 0.1 to 2.5 mm2 - Knipex 97 49 04

Anyone working with open plug type connectors needs the right profile for every plug width and cross-section. The 97 49 04 crimping die carries four crimping nests and so covers 0.1 to 2.5 mm2 for both 2.8 mm and 4.8 mm plug widths in a single interchangeable part.

Cable assembly, vehicle and machine wiring, control cabinet building and repair work on connector strips with open plug connectors. According to the manufacturer the die is not suitable for special contact series such as Tyco Electronics, Molex or JST.
