Cable shears VDE tested for Cu and Al cables up to Ø 15 mm with tether eyelet, 165 mm - Knipex 95 16 165 T

On ladders and scaffolds two things matter: the cut has to succeed on the first pull and the tool must not fall. The 95 16 165 T cable shears cut stranded copper and aluminium multi-core cables up to Ø 15 mm, that is up to 50 mm², and carry an integrated insulated attachment point for a tool tether.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, control cabinet building, overhead line and assembly work at height and service on live installations. The shears are not suitable for steel wire or hard drawn copper conductors.

Standards and conformity

The shears are VDE tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 and are therefore intended for live working on low voltage installations. According to the manufacturer they contain no substances of very high concern under REACH, the RoHS directive does not apply.
