Cable shears VDE tested for copper and aluminium cable up to Ø 15 mm and 50 mm², 165 mm - Knipex 95 16 165

A cable end crushed by a diagonal cutter no longer fits into a crimp sleeve. The 95 16 165 cable shears cut fine-stranded multi-core copper and aluminium cables up to Ø 15 mm, that is up to 50 mm², cleanly and without deforming the conductor.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, control cabinet and plant construction, power distribution and service work on cable runs. Not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors, which call for cable cutters with a different blade geometry.

Standards and conformity

The shears comply with DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900, the standard for hand-held insulated tools for work on live parts. The insulated handles are VDE tested. According to the manufacturer the shears contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply.
