PCB assembly fixture PCSA2 for boards up to 500 x 220 mm - Iteco 7915601

Boards for card racks and 19 inch subracks are long and narrow, and they do not fit the 270 mm length of the small PCSA1. The PCSA2 holds boards up to 500 x 220 mm, almost twice the length at the same width, and works on the same principle: insert the parts, close the foam lid, lift the fixture off and rotate it for soldering.

Operating features

• Working area 500 x 220 mm - sized for long assemblies that do not rest fully in the PCSA1.
• Central rail and two sliding rails as standard - the length also allows several narrow boards side by side, and further rails can be added.
• Rotating without losing components - the conductive pressing foam in the lid holds the leads in their holes while the fixture is turned.
• Working angle adjustable on both sides - posture matters with long boards, and the base sets a working angle for either side.
• Varnished steel frame - the fixture stays torsionally stiff over the greater length.

Applications

Insertion work on long plug in cards and subrack assemblies, power supply and drive boards in strip format, small batches with several narrow boards per fixture, and rework on long assembled boards.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as one PCSA2 assembly fixture with mounting base, frame, foam covered lid, one central rail and two sliding rails. Additional rails for narrower rows carry the number 7915612, which covers PCSA2 and PCSA4, while the PCSA1 rail 7915610 does not fit here. For wider assemblies up to 500 x 350 mm the PCSA4 is available. Made in Italy.
