PCB assembly fixture PCSA1 for boards up to 270 x 220 mm - Iteco 7915599

Anyone inserting leaded components by hand has to turn the board over for soldering without the parts falling out. The PCSA1 solves this with a frame for boards up to 270 x 220 mm: after insertion the lid covered with conductive foam is closed, the complete fixture is lifted off and rotated, and the foam holds the components in position.

Operating features

• Working area 270 x 220 mm - the smallest of the three models, sized for single assemblies at a manual workstation.
• Central rail and two sliding rails as standard - the board is clamped between the rails, and additional rails can be added to hold several small boards at once.
• Detachable frame and lid - the fixture can be separated from the mounting base and carried to the soldering bench as one unit.
• Working angle adjustable on both sides - the base allows a variable working angle for either side of the board, which helps during long insertion sessions.
• Conductive pressing foam - the foam in the lid is made of conductive material and therefore suits an ESD protected workstation.

Manual insertion of leaded components before wave or hand soldering, repair and prototype work, small batches with changing assemblies, and rework benches where single boards are turned over several times.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as one PCSA1 assembly fixture with mounting base, frame, foam covered lid, one central rail and two sliding rails. For narrower rows and several small boards the additional rail 7915610 can be ordered, which fits the PCSA1 only. Larger assemblies are handled by the PCSA2 with 500 x 220 mm and the PCSA4 with 500 x 350 mm. Made in Italy.
