PCB assembly fixture PCSA4 for boards up to 500 x 350 mm - Iteco 7915605

Wide assemblies and panels holding several boards need a fixture that supports the whole surface. The PCSA4 is the largest model of the range and takes boards up to 500 x 350 mm, about 1750 square centimetres of working area against 1100 on the PCSA2 and 594 on the PCSA1. The sequence stays the same: insert the parts, close the foam lid, rotate and solder.

Operating features

• Working area 500 x 350 mm - the largest of the three sizes, suited to backplanes and wide control boards.
• Several boards per fixture - the area allows small boards to be clamped in rows, and extra rails carry further rows.
• Central rail and two sliding rails as standard - the basic layout matches the smaller models.
• Conductive pressing foam - it holds the components while the fixture is turned and suits the ESD protected area of electronics production.
• Working angle adjustable on both sides - even with a wide support an ergonomic position is kept for either side of the board.

Applications

Insertion work on wide assemblies such as backplanes and cabinet electronics, parallel assembly of several small boards in rows, and prototype or rework tasks on wide printed circuit boards.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as one PCSA4 assembly fixture with mounting base, frame, foam covered lid, one central rail and two sliding rails. Additional rails carry the number 7915612, which covers PCSA2 and PCSA4. For single small assemblies the PCSA1 with 270 x 220 mm or the PCSA2 with 500 x 220 mm is sufficient. Made in Italy.
