Maintenance units and components
The Aventics Series NLC is a universal maintenance unit that combines filter, pressure regulator and lubricator in a single compact housing (FRL combination). The available types NLC-FRL-G038-GAU and NL4-FRL-G034-GAU (max. 100 bar, 40 µm filter fineness, PNB bowl, manual drain) are designed for G 3/8 and G 3/4 connections respectively.
The NLC series suits applications where a combined maintenance unit must be installed compactly at a single connection point. The 40 µm filter fineness represents coarse filtration; for higher purity requirements or ultra-fine filtration, the NL2 or NL4 series with interchangeable FLC and FLA filter elements is the better choice. When dimensioning, the rated flow for the respective G port size must be taken into account.
Typical applications: Compact compressed-air supply for individual production machines or handling units, retrofit installations where space is limited, general industrial pneumatics with standard cleanliness requirements, and supply points where a separate three-stage FRL chain cannot be accommodated.
