Pneumatic connection technology
The Aventics Silencer SI1 is available in threaded versions from M5 and G 1/8 to G 1, as well as variants with a hose stub (e.g. G 1/4-5PU, G 3/8-2PU) that allow exhaust air to be routed away from the installation point when noise at the valve location is a concern. The damping material is sintered plastic or sintered bronze depending on the version.
With 70 variants, Series SI1 covers all common exhaust ports in pneumatic directional control valves and valve islands, from M5 (miniature valves) to G 1 (large actuators).

Typical applications: Exhaust noise attenuation at directional control valves and valve islands in factory automation, noise reduction at cylinder exhaust ports in assembly systems, controlled exhaust routing in cleanrooms and food facilities via hose stub variants, silencing at safety valves and exhaust blocks, and general workplace noise reduction in line with operational noise regulations.
