Pneumatic connection technology
Aventics fitting accessories cover the distribution and branching components used to build pneumatic pipe networks: cross connectors, T-distributors, multi-outlet distributors, and swivel elbow and T-connectors in sizes from G 1/8 to G 3/8. These parts allow compressed air flows to be split, branched, or redirected at connection points without separate adapter blocks.
Swivel distributors (elbow and T-type) can be rotated freely after installation, which simplifies hose alignment in confined mounting spaces. Fixed cross connectors and multi-outlet distributors are suited to stationary branch points in a defined piping layout.
Key selection parameters are thread size, number of outlets required, and whether the outlet direction must be adjustable after installation. Swivel connectors suit installations where space is limited or where hose routing is determined after final assembly. Cross and multi-outlet connectors are the right choice for fixed, predefined piping topologies. Thread type (taper-seal or flat-face with gasket) and system operating pressure must match throughout the assembly.
Typical applications: Branch points in stationary compressed-air distribution networks, manifold assemblies on pneumatic cylinders and valve islands, hose-outlet routing on handling and assembly stations, and retrofit or repair work on existing Aventics pneumatic installations.
