Cylinder attachments and accessories
Festo linear guides are FENG guide units that attach directly to Festo pneumatic cylinders (principally ADVU/AEVU) and absorb lateral forces before they reach the cylinder bore. FENG units are available in bore sizes 32, 40, 50 and 100 mm with strokes from 50 to 500 mm. By combining the cylinder and guide unit in a single assembly, separate profile rail guides are not needed and the overall axis length stays compact.

Typical applications: Lifting units with off-centre load application that would deflect the cylinder, tooling axes in assembly and machining stations where lateral forces are introduced, gripper axes carrying tool weight, and pressing axes with eccentric force input that must be absorbed by the guide.
