Lead cutting and bending machine Superform/V-LC 2.54 mm pitch 0.5-0.8 mm lead - Iteco 7915201B

Resistors and diodes that stand upright on the board have to be bent to the drilled hole pattern first. The Superform/V-LC 7915.201B is the standard version of the range and forms the leads of taped axial components to a fixed pitch of 2.54 mm, the closest spacing in the programme.

Operating features

• Fixed 2.54 mm pitch - matches the 0.1 inch grid on which most through hole patterns are laid out.
• Lead diameter 0.5 to 0.8 mm - sized for the thin leads of small resistors and signal diodes.
• Bending dimension A from 2 to 6 mm - the adjustable range covers short as well as tall component bodies.
• Component dimension up to 3 mm - the limit that suits the close pitch, larger bodies are handled by versions C to E.
• Hand crank instead of a drive - the machine needs neither compressed air nor mains power and is ready to work at once.

Applications

Small batches, prototype work and repair in through hole assembly, where resistors, signal diodes and similar axial parts are set upright into a 2.54 mm hole pattern.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The machine processes taped axial components. The BR6 tape reel holder (Iteco 7915.185) can be fitted and is not part of the delivery. The LC range is deliberately simple and cannot be motorised. For motor driven work or for feeding loose components, the larger Superform/V is the next step, which Iteco lists in the same configuration under part number 7915.101B. Supplied as one machine without further accessories. Made in Italy.
