Superform/AF cutting, bending and preforming machine, standard, without die - Iteco 7915095

Leaded axial components have to be cut to pitch, bent and often given a stand-off or lock-in shape before assembly. The Superform/AF does all three steps in one pass: the central feed stops briefly while two preforming assemblies grip the leads and shape them according to the fitted dies. The standard version 7915.095 handles lead diameters from 0.5 to 0.9 mm.

Benefits in operation

• Cutting, U-bending and preforming are mechanically synchronised, which allows up to 7,000 components per hour.
• Cut and bend dimensions and the position of the preform are adjustable, pitch P covers 8 to 61 mm depending on the die.
• The preforming step can be switched off, the machine then works as a plain cutting and U-bending machine.
• Die assemblies are exchanged in a few steps, so one machine covers stand-off, lock-in and body locked shapes.
• Hand crank operation, upgradeable to motor drive with Iteco 7915032 (230 V) or 7915033 (115 V).

Typical applications

Preparing axial resistors, diodes and chokes for through hole assembly, small batches with frequent pitch changes, prototype and repair production that still needs repeatable component geometry.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The machine is supplied without a preforming die. Matching dies for the standard version are Iteco 420800 and 420750 (stand-off), 420850 and 420950 (lock-in), 420900 (reduced pitch) and 421000 (body locked on PCB). For lead diameters of 0.8 to 1 mm the reinforced version Iteco 7915096 is intended, for 1 to 1.3 mm the extra reinforced Iteco 7915097. Accessories include the BR6 tape reel holder (Iteco 7915185), the CS40 loose component feeder (Iteco 7915184) and the motor units Iteco 7915032 and 7915033. Made in Italy.
