Body Locked on PCB Preforming Die Assembly for Superform/AF - Iteco 421000

Low profile assemblies and applications exposed to vibration require the component to sit flat on the board instead of standing off it. The Iteco 421000 die assembly forms exactly this contour on the Superform/AF without a stand-off loop, giving an overall height B of 5 to 8 mm above the board.

• The only die assembly in the range without a stand-off dimension H, the component body rests on the board.
• Overall height B of 5 to 8 mm against 8 to 11 mm on the stand-off assembly 420800 with the same lead range.
• Lead diameters 0.5 to 0.8 mm, listed in the catalogue only for the standard Superform/AF 7915.095.
• Lead pitch P from 10.5 to 61 mm, component body up to 50 mm long and 8 mm in diameter.
• Mechanically synchronised sequence of cutting, U bending and preforming up to 7000 components per hour.

Applications

Assemblies with limited height, equipment under mechanical load or vibration, and applications where the component body should pass heat into the board.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The die assembly belongs to the Superform/AF cutting, bending and preforming machine. Machine accessories are the motor unit Iteco 7915.032 at 230 V or Iteco 7915.033 at 115 V, the BR6 tape reel holder Iteco 7915.185 and the CS40 feeder Iteco 7915.184 for loose components. Supplied as a set of two preforming groups, the machine itself is not included.
