The ERSA HR100A hybrid rework system is a microprocessor-controlled rework station for BGA and SMT work on small, high-pin-count components. Using hybrid technology it combines medium-wave IR radiation with hot air, and both the air flow and the IR power can be adjusted separately and infinitely. The switchable 800 W bottom heater of the HP100A heating plate supports the soldering process on heavy assemblies.
Three hybrid adapters with optimised process parameters cover different component sizes. The integrated VacPen vacuum gripper simplifies component handling, while the tripod holds the hand tool for stationary use. Closed-loop temperature control works contactlessly or via the external AccuTC thermocouple, allowing profiles with a ramp and maximum temperature. The IRSoft software controls, documents and archives the processes.
