Cylinder accessories
Aventics CG1 guide units absorb the lateral forces acting on the piston rod of a pneumatic cylinder, transmitting only the axial force to the output. The GH1 (plain bearing) and GH2 (ball bearing) series cover bore sizes from 12 to 100 mm and stroke lengths from 50 to 800 mm. The rodless GU1 variants (bore sizes 40-63 mm) are designed for linear axes without an exposed piston rod. A total of 140 stock positions are available.

Typical applications: Handling axes with one-sided load introduction (grippers, suction pads), pressing units with lateral forces from component tolerances, linear guides in placement and joining machines, and assembly systems where an exposed piston rod is undesirable (GU1 for belt-driven axes).
