Aventics industrial shock absorbers from the SA1 and SA2 series dissipate kinetic energy in pneumatic and mechanical drives through hydraulic deceleration. The SA1 range includes the manually adjustable SA1-MA (thread diameters M25 and M33, stroke 25-150 mm) and the self-adjusting SA1-MC (M14, M20, M25, stroke 13-25 mm). For light-duty applications the SA2-RC (M12, M14) and SA2-RT (M20) are available. A total of 62 stock positions are stocked.

Typical applications: End-position cushioning of pneumatic cylinders in handling systems and transfer lines (SA1-MC, self-adjusting), noise reduction and machine load relief on rotary table stops and conveyor stations (SA1-MA), lightweight handling axes and gripper units requiring compact dimensions (SA2-RC/RT), and vibration damping on rotary actuators and gantry axes.
