Expanded metal prefilter for series 1200 - ULT 02.0.676
The expanded metal filter is the very first filter stage in ULT extraction units of the 1200 series. Its knitted metal mesh works as a condensation filter and holds back cooled, sticky aerosols and particles before they reach the fine filter layers. It can be cleaned in an industrial washer and reused several times. ULT lists it as replacement filter 4-00312 for LRA 1200 MD.18 K and LAS 1200 MD.18 K and as an option for ASD 1200 MD.18 TH, LAS 1200 MD.18 THA16 and LAS 1200 MD.18 FHA16.

Description
Sticky aerosols from soldering and laser processes clog a fine filter layer faster than dry dust does. The ULT 02.0.676 expanded metal prefilter therefore sits as stage 1 in the intake path of the 1200 series and holds back the already cooled aerosols and particles mechanically.

Applications
Pre-separation in the extraction and filter units of the 1200 series for solder fume (LRA), laser fume (LAS) and dust and fume (ASD). It pays off above all in processes with sticky aerosols, such as hand soldering, robot soldering or laser processing of organic materials.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
A fixed part of filter build K in LRA 1200 MD.18 K and LAS 1200 MD.18 K. For ASD 1200 MD.18 TH, LAS 1200 MD.18 THA16 and LAS 1200 MD.18 FHA16 ULT lists the expanded metal filter as an option. One expanded metal filter is supplied, without further accessories.
