Surface mounting die block for taped radial components Supercut/RP - Iteco 7915158G

Placing leaded radial components flat on the board calls for a forming shape that tips the body onto the surface and turns the leads outwards into feet. This die block produces exactly that shape on the Supercut/RP, straight from the tape and with one pneumatic stroke per component.

Operating features

• Body lies on the board - the leads are bent so that the component rests on the laminate and the assembly stays low.
• Up to 7000 components per hour - the motorised tape transport of the Supercut/RP advances the reel without manual handling.
• Cut and form in one stroke - the pneumatic tool works vertically from top to bottom.
• Quick block change - the die block can be swapped for another forming shape without dismantling the machine.
• Adjustable body distance - the gap between the component body and the forming zone is adjustable, all other dimensions are fixed.

Low profile assemblies with limited height, series production of taped capacitors and resistors, and boards on which the component body has to rest securely before soldering.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The die block works in the Supercut/RP machines, supplied by Iteco with 12.7 mm tape pitch under 7915.154 and 7915.154A and with 15 mm tape pitch under 7915.155 and 7915.155A. The machines ship without a die block and every forming shape needs its own block. Supplied as one complete die block. Made in Italy.
