Compressed air preparation
Festo on-off valves and pressure build-up valves control the compressed air supply during start-up and shutdown of pneumatic systems. This category groups two product families: the HE-G range (shut-off valves G 3/8 to G 1, manual actuation) and the MS4 and MS6 ranges with electric on-off valves (EE, EM1) and pressure build-up valves (DE, DL) for modular compressed air preparation systems in the MS profile range.
With 67 versions, the range covers everything from manual main shut-offs to electrically actuated soft-start valves with 110 V and 230 V control. The MS4 and MS6 components are part of the Festo Modular Service System and can be combined directly with other MS modules.

Typical applications: Main shut-off for pneumatic systems (HE-G), start-up control with throttled pressure build-up in robot cells and assembly lines (MS4/MS6-DE/DL), electrical pressure release on PLC signal in automated production lines, and integration into modular MS4/MS6 compressed air preparation stations as safety and switch-on stage.
