Compressed air preparation
Festo filter regulator valves combine compressed air filtration and pressure regulation in a single compact unit. The MS series MS4-LFR, MS6-LFR, and MS12-LFR cover port sizes from G 1/8 to G 1/2 and integrate directly as modules into Festo service block assemblies. Depending on the variant, manual (M) or automatic (U) condensate drainage is available, with transparent plastic or metal bowls for visual monitoring of the water level during operation.
The filter grade (class C or E) and pressure regulation range are matched to the process requirements by model. Variants with an oil separator (CRM, CRV) or without (ERM, ERV) allow selection based on the application, for example where low-oil compressed air is required for spray painting or instrument air.

Typical applications: Compressed air supply for assembly and manufacturing lines with interchangeable tooling, process air supply in food and pharmaceutical industries requiring low-oil air, spray painting and coating systems, pneumatic controls in packaging machinery, and all modular Festo MS service block assemblies where filter and regulator functionality is required in a single compact unit.
