The Nitto Kohki HI Cupla ACE is a plastic quick coupling for low-pressure service up to 19 bar, manufactured from PBT/POM with NBR seals. The range covers 25 items across the PH, PM, PN and PF plug series and the SH, SM and SN socket series, in nominal sizes 20, 30, 50, 60, 65, 80 and 85. G-suffix variants (50PNG-PLA, 65PNG-PLA, 85PNG-PLA) are earthed versions, and the HA series provides an alternative body geometry with the same materials and pressure rating.
PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) and POM (polyoxymethylene) give the ACE series greater rigidity and better chemical resistance than conventional polypropylene couplings, making them suitable wherever lightweight construction and corrosion-free operation are required.

Pick HI CUPLA ACE for air lines that need the 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} class together with a plastic body at a quarter of the weight of steel HI CUPLA and a sleeve lock against accidental disconnection; plastic plugs and Model HA-T stay at 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2}. MICRO CUPLA, SMALL CUPLA, SUPER CUPLA, COMPACT CUPLA and CUBE CUPLA are rated 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2} and come into question only where that lower pressure is sufficient, and COMPACT CUPLA and CUBE CUPLA where shut-off on both sides is required instead of the one-way shut-off of HI CUPLA ACE. Where the same 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} is needed in metal, HI CUPLA, HI CUPLA 200, FULL BLOW CUPLA and LINE CUPLA 200 remain available; HI CUPLA ACE is interchangeable with HI CUPLA models 10, 17, 20, 30, 40 and 60.

Separation prevention mechanism
When the sleeve (Yellow color) is aligned to the lock position prior to connection, the sleeve will be locked to prevent accidental disconnection.

Interchangeability and size groups
