Swivel clamping cylinder SQK
Cylinder
The SQK series swivel clamping cylinders (EMC) combine a 90-degree swing motion with a subsequent axial clamping stroke in a single unit. During extension, the arm swings clear of the workpiece; on retraction, it swings back and clamps with the specified clamping stroke. Bore diameters run from 16 to 40 mm, available in left-hand (SQKL) and right-hand (SQKR) swing variants with clamping strokes of 10, 20, 30, and 50 mm. Repair kits (REP) are available for all bore sizes.
| Type | Bore | Clamping strokes (mm) | Swing direction |
|---|---|---|---|
| SQKL | 16, 20, 25, 32, 40 mm | 10, 20, 30, 50 | Left (counter-clockwise) |
| SQKR | 16, 20, 25, 32, 40 mm | 10, 20, 30, 50 | Right (clockwise) |
| SQK REP | 16, 20, 25, 32, 40 mm | - | Repair kit |
Typical applications: Workpiece clamping and fixturing in transfer lines and machining centres, fixture systems with cyclic loading and unloading, assembly equipment requiring lateral workpiece access, and automated welding fixtures where the arm must be clear after clamping.
