Phillips bit PH3 for large heads, 6 mm blade diameter, 44 mm long - Delvo DLB2132

A Phillips No. 3 recess takes a good deal more torque than the smaller sizes, and that is exactly when the bearing surface of the blade decides whether the recess survives. This bit brings a 6 mm blade for the job, the size the NK4D range assigns to No. 3.

Benefits

• Blade diameter of 6 mm, the largest in the range. More contact area in the recess means lower surface pressure and less cam out under load.
• Hardness grade H, the hardest grade of the NK4D range, so the flanks of the blade keep their contour through frequent repetition.
• Blade length of 11 mm, enough for recessed heads, at a compact overall length of 44 mm and a correspondingly stiff tool.
• Shank of 4 mm in half-round form, positively driven in the H4 holder. At this torque an adapter would be one more source of error.
• Special alloy from the in-house production of Nitto Kohki, heat treated under control, hardness tested closely and with low runout of the bit axis.

Applications

Fastening housing covers, mounting plates, retaining rails and earthing tabs, where the screw is bigger than in board level assembly. It is also the right size at repair benches whenever No. 3 screws are released and tightened again.

Matching accessories

The bit is carried by the Delvo electric screwdrivers with a 4 mm holder, such as DLV-7331-BME6, DLV-7420A BME6 or DLV-7410-BME6. On a 1/4 inch holder the ADA-HR4-D63 adapter makes the connection. For placing the screw, the ring magnets MAG-RING-6,0 and MAG-RING-4,7 hold it on the blade. Smaller sizes of the same range are DLB 2130 for No. 2 and DLB 2126 for No. 1.
