Connectors of the AMP Superseal 1.5 series sit where moisture and vibration attack the joint, for example in vehicle electrics. The crimping die 97 49 28 crimps their contacts in the range 0.35 to 1.5 mm², which corresponds to AWG 22 to 16. The die measures 50 x 12 mm and weighs 41 g.
