Cutting and preforming machine for taped radial components P=15 mm 110 V - Iteco 7915155A

This version of the Supercut/RP processes component tape on a 15 mm pitch and is fed from a 110 V supply. That opens the same cutting and curling machine to plants that do not run on the European 230 V mains, such as sites in North America or Japan. The automatic feed system keeps output at 7,000 components per hour.

What the machine does

• The automatic feed system runs on 110 V, so an upstream isolating transformer and the floor space it needs are not required.
• The 15 mm pitch covers the larger body sizes without rewinding the tape or separating parts by hand.
• Cutting and curling happen in one pneumatic stroke and the component leaves the machine ready for through-hole insertion.
• The distance between component body and start of the curl is adjustable, all other curl and cut dimensions stay fixed.
• Anyone producing on several sites with different mains keeps 7915.155A and 7915.155 in service as electrically different but mechanically identical machines and needs only one set of die blocks.

Applications

Preparation of taped electrolytic capacitors, film capacitors and larger resistors on 15 mm pitch tape at workplaces with a 110 V supply. It also works as a second machine alongside the 230 V variant when die blocks are moved between sites.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The machine is delivered with the automatic feed system but without a preforming set. Die blocks of the 7915.158 range fit unchanged, for example 7915.158B for stand-off without lock-in or 7915.158E for LEDs with defined polarity. The BR3 7915.159 reel holder covers the 15 mm pitch.
