Die assembly straight cut without preforming for Supercut/RP - Iteco 7915158D

This die block takes only the cutting part of the Supercut/RP cycle. The leads are separated from the tape and brought to an equal length, nothing is formed. Straight leads of identical length leave the machine, while mounting height and locking are produced further down the line.

Features

• Cutting only, with no loop, so the lead stays straight over its whole free length.
• An identical lead length across the whole run is what automatic insertion with cut and clinch depends on.
• Without a forming stroke the mechanical load on the part is the lowest of the range, which matters with delicate bodies and thin leads.
• The block runs in the same pneumatic holder as the forming tools and is changed without realignment.

Applications

For production lines where components are cut and clinched by machine after insertion, and for parts held in a fixture or a test adapter. It also serves when the only task is to remove the tape remains and even out the lead lengths.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Fits the Supercut/RP 7915.154, 7915.154A, 7915.155 and 7915.155A. One die block is supplied, the machine is not included. If forming is needed in addition to cutting, 7915.158A, 7915.158B and 7915.158C cover the common loop forms and 7915.158F the 90 degree bend.
