Die assembly stand-off with support loop for Supercut/RP - Iteco 7915158B

This version forms one single support loop. It rests on the top side of the board and keeps the component body at a constant height, while the leads pass straight through the hole underneath. Unlike die block 7915.158A no lock-in is created below the board, so the lead stays free for a later operation.

Features

• The loop sets the mounting height without deforming the lead below the board.
• Straight leads can afterwards be cut and clinched by machine or inserted into test adapters and terminals.
• As only one loop is formed, less lead length is consumed than with the double loop form.
• Pneumatic vertical die block, exchanged for another lead form without realigning the machine.

Applications

For assemblies where the part has to stand at a defined height but the leads must stay straight, because they are cut and clinched automatically in a later step or because the component is held in a fixture. It also suits test samples whose leads are contacted.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Fits all four Supercut/RP versions 7915.154, 7915.154A, 7915.155 and 7915.155A. One die block is supplied without a machine. If a lock-in under the board is also needed, 7915.158A provides the double loop, while 7915.158C is intended for components sitting flat on the board.
