Die assembly double loop stand-off/lock-in for LED polarity Supercut/RP - Iteco 7915158E

Taped LEDs differ from capacitors and resistors in one respect: anode and cathode must still be told apart after preforming. This die block therefore produces the same double loop as the stand-off with lock-in version, but treats the two leads so that the polarity marking survives the operation.

Features

• Polarity remains readable on the part after cutting and curling, so the LED can be oriented without doubt during insertion.
• The upper loop sets the LED to a height that stays the same across the whole run, which decides the optical result behind a front panel or a light guide.
• The lower loop locks the lead below the board and keeps the LED standing upright until soldering.
• Pneumatic vertical die block, exchanged for another lead form without realigning the machine.

Applications

Preparation of taped leaded LEDs for indicator and signalling boards, front panels with light guides and luminaire boards, where the mounting height of the LED and unambiguous polarity matter equally.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Fits the Supercut/RP in all four versions 7915.154, 7915.154A, 7915.155 and 7915.155A. One die block is supplied without a machine. For parts with no polarity requirement the double loop 7915.158A is the matching version, and 7915.158C gives the lowest mounted height.
